Carrie and Dane are seriously the cutest couple ever, from the moment I first met them in person at their engagement session I knew their wedding was going to be the sweetest day and it truly was!
They got married at Stemple Creek Ranch which is a beautiful ranch venue in Tomales California, out in the farm land surrounded by rolling hills. It is such a cute venue that has a rustic vibe but is still updated and modern- perfect for a couple who wants a barn wedding! One of the best moments from their wedding day was their first look, the way Dane looked at her when he first saw her was so sweet (photos below!!). We spent the beginning part of the day photographing the two of them, their bridal party, and family photos so that they could all go enjoy cocktail hour after the wedding- this is the best idea for couples who want to socialize with their guests!
The amazing Morgan of Prim Event Studio was their planner (she’s one of my favorites!), so I knew the wedding would be amazing and run so smoothly and it did! They had all the fall color tones, lots of lush foliage and florals, and the perfect setting for an autumn wedding. I really loved the vibrant orange-red color of Carrie’s bridesmaids’ dresses- such a fun and unexpected shade! Inside the barn for the reception the tables were draped with velvet dark green linens, a pop of mustard napkins, and fall arrangements by Natasha Kolenko. There were also organic climbing foliage throughout the barn that created such a natural and cozy vibe as the guests dined.
Towards the end of the evening we went out for sunset photos and had the most amazing golden light and took some really sweet photos of Carrie and Dane together, happily married! I loved this wedding so much and I’m so excited to see it featured on 100 Layer Cake!
