I’m SO excited to finally share what I’ve been working on for the past few months… Olivia Richards Photography is now Olivia Marshall Photography!! Since we got married this May (you can see more our wedding HERE and see it featured on Green Wedding Shoes!), I knew I wanted to change my business name along with my own name, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to give my whole business a fresh new look with a rebrand! I worked with Jacki of Foil & Ink to do my rebranding and website and she did such an amazing job bringing my ideas to life and really creating a whole brand that feels so much like me! I wanted to share a little more about the process and the inspiration behind my new site!
When Jacki and I first spoke about the overall vision and vibe I wanted for my branding and website, I gave her my design inspiration board and told her how I’m really inspired by golden light, the warm color tones at sunset, and California landscapes- so we incorporated these things into my new branding! She pulled images and colors from my inspiration board and created my custom logo, submarks, graphics, and patterns. Here is part of the design board she sent to me, I immediately fell in love with all of it and was so happy to see the beginning stages of my new brand!
After we completed the branding part of the process, we started on the website design which included me pulling images and galleries, client reviews, new copy for the site, and all the content I wanted to showcase on my new website. This was definitely the hardest part of the process, but it was crucial to dig deep into my business and choose all the content that I felt best represented me as a photographer!
Once I finished all of this, Jacki began working on my website design and within a few weeks she sent me my first website update and it was amazing getting to actually go through my new site and see all the beautiful design elements she created! I’ve never had someone else do my website design for me before, all my past sites have been DIY sites I’ve created, so seeing my site Jacki designed was so fun!! We got to work together on revising some things on the site until it was perfect and I just LOVE how it turned out! Jacki is such a sweet person and an extremely talented web designer, I’m so happy I got to work with her for my rebrand!
I’m SO happy to finally have my new website and brand launch!!! It has been such an amazing year for me and my business, and this just marks the start of a new chapter and I can’t wait to now be Olivia Marshall Photography!
