Last summer, we had the absolute pleasure of photographing Katie and Mike’s wedding at the stunning Ru’s Farm in Healdsburg! Their celebration was elegant but approachable, taking inspiration from the effortlessly chic aesthetic of Nancy Meyers. Every detail of the day reflected their vision of a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere, with a dream team of vendors and Ru’s Farm as the perfect backdrop.

Ru’s Farm is a gem nestled in California’s wine country and a new favorite venue of ours! Guests were welcomed by a charming pathway lined with olive trees and a beautiful lavender field, and greeted with welcome drinks before heading down to the ceremony site with the most gorgeous views of the vineyards. The ceremony space was under a grove of trees and adorned with lush white flowers, including hydrangeas and greenery, creating a soft, romantic feel. Their ceremony was so picturesque and a perfect start to the rest of their fun celebration!

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour and dinner al fresco. The reception tables were beautifully styled with neutral linens, elegant place settings, and lush monochromatic white floral arrangements by J Blooms that perfectly complemented the natural surroundings. Their planner, Michelle of Olivia Grace Events (one of our favorite wedding planners) truly brought their vision to life throughout the entire wedding design!

The night ended with a packed dance floor and a sparkly outfit change for Katie- such a fun celebration for a sweet couple!
