When Heather and Jeff envisioned their wedding day, they dreamt of vibrant colors, Moroccan-inspired decor, and a celebration as unique as their love story. Originally planning to tie the knot in Morocco, they found their perfect alternative at the iconic Parker Hotel in Palm Springs. The bride’s love for orange and a serendipitous encounter with a Gray Malin photograph featuring a camel in front of the Parker sealed the deal for this unforgettable destination wedding.

A Bold and Joyful Color Palette

The design was centered around a palette of oranges, pinks, and yellows, a nod to the venue’s colorful vibe and the Heather’s favorite hue. Adding to the vibrant theme, she wore a custom orange wedding dress by local dressmaker Julie Ireland, a showstopping piece that reflected her personality and tied into the palette beautifully. Vibrant florals were the heart of the ceremony decor, popping beautifully against the Parker’s lush greenery. Meag Breanne Events (one of our favorite wedding planners!) designed their entire wedding weekend to perfection, making sure their unique vision was brought to life in every detail!

Moroccan Details and Personalized Touches

Guests enjoyed a spicy skinny blackberry margarita with a sugared rim, served as a refreshing pre-ceremony beverage and later as the signature cocktail. Cocktail hour and dinner featured fun orange and patterned linens to blend all the pink and yellow accents. Moroccan-inspired details, like letterpress menus and place cards, added a cool design feature to the wedding that truly made it feel custom to them. More floral arrangements filled the space at their bar and throughout the reception- so many beautiful florals in every shade of pink, orange and yellow.The star of the night may have been the pink-and-white checkered dance floor—a bold and playful idea from the bride that perfectly complemented the aesthetic and vibe of the day!

While Morocco wasn’t in the cards for them, Heather and Jeff brought the spirit of their dream destination to life at the Parker Hotel! Its lush greenery, eclectic decor, and iconic charm made it the perfect setting for a wedding that was both personal and unforgettable.
