Capturing photos for past clients as they begin growing their family is always such a joy! I’ve known these two (and their sweet pup Zoey) for the past few years as I’ve taken their annual fall family photos. Earlier this year, Matt reached out to me and told me they were expecting and he wanted to gift Marissa a maternity session for Mother’s Day! It was the sweetest thing and such an amazing gift to celebrate this special moment in their lives.

They really wanted a golden, light location with tall dried grasses and this location (which is one of my favorites!) in Palo Alto Hills was perfect! We had the most beautiful golden natural light during sunset, which was the perfect for their maternity photos. Next up, newborn photos once baby is here soon!
