This beautiful morning wedding in Carmel was so special! Michelle and Andrew were supposed to get married last year, but had to reschedule. They chose to have an intimate ceremony at Carmel Mission Basilica with their immediate families this summer and have a larger celebration in 2022. It’s always so refreshing to document such a small wedding like this, it really is all about the couple and officially being married- that’s it! They don’t have to stress out about all the details and throwing a huge party, they just get to enjoy the day with their closest loved ones.

The grounds at the Carmel Mission Basilica are absolutely gorgeous! The peachy pink adobe walls, Spanish architecture, bougainvillea, and cacti are some of my FAVORITE things to photograph!

After their ceremony we drove out to the coast and photographed portraits of the two of them by the ocean, it was such a perfect sunny day out! Next year I’ll be photographing these two again as they celebrate their reception party with all of their friends & family at the Barns at Cooper Molera in Monterey!
