MY STYLE + INSPIRATION
I find inspiration through things I love, things that include nature, light, beautiful florals, simplicity, romantic settings, and genuinely happy people. Through my years of photographing weddings, I have found that these things make a wedding exceptionally beautiful and in turn make wedding photographs just as amazing.
My style of photographing people revolves around beautiful light and natural settings. Almost all my sessions and weddings take place outdoors, where I love bringing gorgeous scenery into my images. The way I direct my clients in front of the camera is very natural and less posed, which I think makes for the most beautiful and realistic photos that truly show your love for each other!
Natural light is also something that I believe makes a photo even more beautiful, and so I make sure to incorporate lots of bright natural light into my work. All of these elements are enhanced when I photograph with film, my favorite type of photography! Film truly makes me stop and think about what I am shooting so I can make sure it looks perfect in camera. It produces the most accurate colors, light, and depth that no other medium compares to!
THE PROCESS

The next step will be to schedule a quick chat on the phone so we can go over your wedding plans, answer any questions you may have, get to know each other and make sure we are a perfect fit! A 50% retainer and signed contract are both due in order to officially book and hold your wedding date.
Once you are booked, we will start planning your engagement session (if you book one, which I HIGHLY recommend doing)! Throughout the entire planning process, I am always an email or phone call away and I’m very willing to help you with any aspect of your wedding planning! From recommending vendors I love, to helping you figure out your timeline, I always want to make sure my clients feel taken care of.
I LOVE knowing all about the details, design choices, and overall planning, and I have found that it helps me photograph weddings even better when I know all the important elements that go into my clients’ big day!
