Goal 1 // Start shooting film
I am so excited to start this goal THIS WEEK! My first film camera will be arriving tomorrow and I cannot wait to start learning how to shoot film. There’s just something about the way film looks and the anticipation to see how your images turn out that is so exciting to me! I will be practicing like crazy for the next few weeks, and then I will start shooting some film during my sessions with clients to see how I can blend the two together.

Goal 2 // Shoot at new locations
Last year I found a couple locations that I always shot at because I was familiar with the location and settings, but I would love to find new spots for my sessions this year. Even places that are special to my clients!

Goal 3 // Travel somewhere new
Every year Brandon and I go on a trip to LA, and while we love going there, I would love to go somewhere new together. We are currently planning a trip to Portland with my family for spring break, and we are very excited to be going somewhere new!

Goal 4 // Do more styled shoots
Last year, I was so excited to finally have two sessions featured online! I would LOVE to do more styled shoots and get my photos featured on more blogs. It would be great to collaborate with more businesses in the Bay Area (florists, bridal dress shops, rental companies, etc) and plan some shoots!

Goal 5 // Meet and hang out with more people in the photography industry
I love meeting other creative people, particularly in the same industry as me! It is really nice to sit and talk about each others businesses and share ideas, issues, and information together.
